The Anthony Watson Story

Anthony Watson made history in Pyeong Chang South Korea earlier on this year, by becoming Jamaica’s first ever Skeleton athlete. He also competed at the World Championships in 2017 as well as competing as a sprinter at the Junior Olympics in the 100m, 200m and the 4x100m relay until an injury limited his ambitions in track.

While going through school despite his gifts, Anthony was singled out as a constant target of Bullying, He was constantly harassed bullied and made fun of and knows exactly what it’s like to feel unloved and unwanted. The only time there was any respite was when he was doing sports and ultimately it was his faith in Jesus and his love of sports that got him through that period and saw him go on to achieve his dream of becoming an Olympian.
